Money might not be able to buy you love, but it’s fair to assume that money can buy you a good education, right? Maybe not.
Education Week reports that the structural changes states are making because of the ARRA might actually lead to long-term, harmful consequences for our schools. Researchers at the Campaign for Educational Equity found that even though "Title I and special education dollars doubled under the stimulus package, these funds not only failed to advance the cause of disadvantaged students, but also perpetuated existing inequities."
