Serving on the front line of education funding, you know that we need help. It’s a daunting responsibility to improve the quality of education while losing teachers, raising class size and eliminating school programs.
Secretary Duncan is trying to bring help to education. He sent a letter to congressional leadership, urging Congress to include $23 billion in supplemental appropriations to preserve education jobs, along with $1 billion in funds to preserve early childhood education jobs and an additional $2 billion to support public safety.
